Pricing for beyond October 2009 and for 2010

For dates reserved for 2010, we will be offering our multi talented officiant as a one man show for your wedding (both officiant and photographer)! His wife and fellow photographer, Kat Beach, is transitioning from beach photography to the studio, (and a different type of photography altogether), but she will be available on a limited basis our 2 photographer package (check for available dates), and for our special Sunset Romance package. Don Beach will offering the packages listed below, and still offering the very fun, easy going, and romantic barefoot officiant and photography services that Beachpeople Weddings are famous for!

So what could be better than having the most laid back old beach hippie/reiki master on the east coast as your wedding officiant? It would be having that very same laid back old beach hippie/reiki master as your wedding photographer at the same time! Donny Beach is very passionate and experienced at both of those functions, and can provide a fun and affordable wedding with photography on some of the best beaches around. What could be better than that?

So how could one person do 2 things at once? And what is so great about his photography?

We're sure you've seen the photography inclusive packages offered by other wedding businesses in our area... you know the guys that give you the roll of film afterwards, or the flash card copied directly to a disk with minimal (or no) editing (compare the images on our website www.beachpeopleweddings.com and theirs).

He is licensed as a photographer by (and pays taxes to) the state of North Carolina, and is insured. He is a member of the Professional Photographers Association, Wedding & Portrait Photographers International, National Association of Photoshop Professionals, and several informal organizations concerned with wedding photography. So in other words, he didn't go buy a fancy camera, set it on "auto"... and then cross his fingers and hope they turn out!

Don has a style all his own, with romantic couple photography and also more creative fisheye images that are often dramatically toned and colorfully saturated... with mix of high contrast B&W, edgy effects, or Old Fashioned sepia as well! He doesn't just tell you to go "stand over there and smile a lot"! He is very experienced in gently leading you the couple through a series of easy and romantic guided poses that will leave you excited and relaxed... and feeling very special.

So why is all that stuff good? It shows that he takes his craft seriously, that he continues to be educated about the world of professional photography, that he has that passionate drive to improve himself and to expand his abilities. He is skilled at dealing with the tricky lighting out on the beach, and adept at grabbing those all important shots during your ceremony, even as he officiates your ceremony using his favorite fisheye lens! (Watching the Ed Sullivan show when he was a kid as that guy spun all those plates on sticks was his favorite act!) Your package will include several wide angle shots during the ceremony, with the balance of the photography occurring afterwards, on the beach, under a fishing pier maybe, or in the dunes!

As a wedding officiant, he has performed well over 4000 weddings on beaches and gardens, and is a Reiki master-practitioner, a certified reiki drummer, a Remo trained Health Rhythms drummer, a member of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, a member of the Sound Healers Association, one of the first people to sample Jimmy Buffett's Landshark beer, and just an all around great dude! And as a photographer with 26 years of experience, he offers a romantic, creative, and energetic style of photography all his own, always looking at new and innovative developments for your wedding images!

Package prices below are for our local area (Holden Beach, Ocean Isle Beach, Sunset Beach, and North Myrtle Beach) for dates reserved for weddings scheduled from October 5th 2009 and beyond.

All other areas have a travel fee depending on location... and these listed fees must be added to the below listed package prices.

Our travel fees are ... $100 for Wrightsville, Carolina, and Kure Beaches, $50 for Oak Island ... $200 for Topsail Island.

For South Carolina locations; $50 for Myrtle Beach and Myrtle Beach State Park, $75 for Surfside and Garden City, $150 for Huntington Beach State Park, Pawley's Island, and Litchfield Plantation.

All of our photo packages include your edited images (only the very best images, and chosen by us), and placed on a photo disk, with all images taken by our highly skilled photographer, adjusted and ready for printing. We also upload images from your photo session onto our online ordering website at http://beachpeople.zenfolio.com/ where you or your guests may view, share, and order prints, canvases, and a huge variety of products if desired. Just to remind you, we do not permit our clients to proof or choose the images included on their disk, as our pricing is based on our workflow... but you may elect to upgrade to a bigger package after you see your images if you'd like. Just let us know before we ship your disk, as there is an added fee if we have to go back and resend another upgraded disk!

With this new add-on package, I'm offering either 5 or 10 images hand reworked into beautiful photo art, and offered to you as image files on a photo disk with printing rights. You can have them printed on canvas or fine art paper and $AVE big time by having them printed yourself! Heirloom quality art of your wedding day can be yours for a very affordable price. Choose any of our photo packages, and you'll be able to upload your image files to websites such as www.mpix.com to have your own canvas mounted artwork to pass on for generations! Not available for sunset times at my discretion. If you are "last minute", I might be able to perform an "officiant only" sunset wedding if I'm available!

For the following packages, I am the officiant and photographer. If you would like to have your own photographer, in additional my photography services (in order to get more extensive coverage), I am happy to permit this! (For eloping couples, or small intimate weddings of no more than 20 guests, inquire for pricing for larger weddings (limited to 35 guests).

This is our ultimate package for the couple who is looking for a "dream-come-true" romantic wedding. It is designed for those who want an extraordinary wedding experience but do not wish to do the usual "check list, must do" type weddings. In our 10 years of experience of officiating and photographing weddings, we have found that many couples are more relaxed and have more fun when they keep their wedding small and intimate. We discovered that this is what we love to do and we have become experts at it.

Some couples choose this type of wedding because of budget (and we have other packages to meet those needs), but some couples choose a small intimate beach wedding simply for the romance and intimacy, and the relaxed experience it provides, yet still want to invest in keepsake photography. They want the beautiful wedding album, and the slide show to share with family and friends. They want the availability to meet with us in person, and to get extra assistance with long distance planning. They want the dedicated attention that can make their wedding unforgettable. This package is for that couple. It is a unique, spiritual and fun experience, and you get the photography that every bride dreams of. It is the best of both worlds. You can have your cake and eat it too! The wedding can be as simple or as fancy as your heart desires. Just tell us what your dream is and we will do what we can to make it happen.
