Off-Season Weddings!

Yes, there is life at the beach after November!

For many couples, getting married in the off-season (from November to the end of February) offers many great advantages! For one thing, the temperatures are much more pleasant that those sultry summer and autumn months. There is little chance of the stray hurricane coming your way, or more likely, the Carolina rainy season uncertainties that accompany an outdoor wedding. Our off season weather is surprisingly nice!

Another good reason is cost. Busy season hotel or resort rates can sometimes be quite expensive, but the costs associated with the months considered "off season" can be drastically lower! You will find a huge variety of beach rental houses available as well, for costs that anyone could afford! Head over to the links on our Brunswick Islands link to check out resort and rental rates....

Imagine yourself in your own beach house for a week, with miles of uniterupted sandy beach all to yourselves! This is an incurable romantic's dream come true.....

Imagine the beach in the morning, as the sun rises from the early morning ocean, watching the morning "pelican patrol" making their rounds with you (and some unlucky fish!) as the only witness.

Visit (or be) an early dawn fisherman, with miles and miles of beach all to yourself!

The numbers of vacationers are much reduced, meaning greater privacy for intimate wedding services in places that you would never have to yourself otherwise! If you've ever tried to drive through some ocean front areas in the summer, you'll know what I mean!

With the average off season temperatures still being quite comfortable, it makes sense to consider having your wedding take place without worrying about overheated guests, the high costs of venues or accommodations, summer traffic or travel hassles.

And of course, the Carolinas are still just the same beautiful, historic, and special places they always are, only quieter! Just ask the owners of any of the fine B&B's in Wilmington or Southport. Or at any of the (finally) peaceful resorts nestled on the quiet, off season beaches along our sandy coastline. It's the time of year many of us like the best!

I'll be waiting for you!

(Shhh! Just don't tell everybody!)
